We are a multicultural, welcoming community where newcomers to Luxembourg and long time residents come together to connect, play, and share good times. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced player, you will always find a friendly table waiting for you.

About Us
Welcome to the Board Games Fanatics of Luxembourg (BGFL)!
BGFL is a friendly and vibrant community of board game lovers in Luxembourg City and surroundings. Every Friday from 7:30 PM to midnight we gather at Independent Café (Fire Room) to play new games, enjoy old favorites, and connect over shared fun. Whether you're a seasoned strategist or just curious, you'll always find a welcoming table here.
There's no need to sign up or pay a fee for our weekly meetups - just drop in and join the fun! We only ask that you support our venue by purchasing food and drinks from the café so we can keep this great partnership going.
Beyond our weekly nights, BGFL also organizes special events throughout the year: tournaments, themed game nights, outdoor picnics, and more. Since 2023, we've run Catan championships, Blitz nights, and Azul competitions, while also joining major conventions like Game On, the Luxembourg Gaming Xperience (LGX) Convention, and the Luxembourg Times Expat Day.
